Little music blocks

I did these paintings after the drawing of the previous post. Each block is part of the drawing.

Well, I don’t think this falls under cubism any more. I will try that again later.

  2. The color is perfect! So contemporary looking. My favorite is the one with the red bottle and paintbrush cup hovering in the foreground. Was it fun?

  3. These are a lot of fun, Cecily. Love the tablecloth. Here’s my two cents worth. Make a colour copy of one of them. Divide the white background into three geometric shapes of different sizes. Use your watercolours to try out colour combinations. If you like the look of one, add it your oil painting.

    • Hi Barry. Thank you for the advice (and the time)! If I understand correctly I will then get rid of the white background? I will try it.
